2nd and 3rd Grade: October 4, 2017

This week, we finished learning pet-related vocabulary words.  We practiced our vocabulary words by illustrating silly Spanish sentences.  Next week, we'll have the chance to talk about our pets in Spanish!

**On Wednesday, October 11, students will be able to bring a picture of their pet(s) to class.  Students can bring in an actual photograph, a drawing, or you can email me a digital picture that I will add to a slide show (ambrouwer@hollandchristian.org).  Students will introduce their pet to the class in Spanish.  If you don't have a pet, your student can choose to draw/find/email me a picture of their dream pet, a friend/family member's pet, or talk about a favorite animal instead.

Ask your student:

  • Do you remember what silly sentence your group illustrated?  (We had some silly sentences...even one about a snake eating pizza!)
  • Which pet or animal do you want to talk about in Spanish?  (Señora Brouwer doesn't have a pet, she'll be talking about Remi, her brother's dog!)
