5th and 6th Grade: September 6, 2017

During class today, we walked over to the High School to join participate in this year's opening convocation with the entire Holland Christian student body.  It was a great time praying and praising the Lord together.

Ask your student:

• Tell me about the convocation at the high school?  Did you sing any favorite songs?  Did you learn a new favorite?  How did Mr. Mosterd (the man who was planting seeds) explain this years theme? ("Cultivating Shalom" is a lot like gardening.  It's hard work, and you need to work at it every day!)

• Quia Vocabulary/Language practice:  Even though we didn't have a normal Spanish class this week, I asked the students if they still wanted a Quia assignment this week and most of them said, "Yes!"  So, here it is:

• Bible Memory:  This semester, we'll be memorizing 2 Corinthians 13:11 as an (HC)2 group.  We will practice memorizing this verse in Spanish.
