**On Wednesday, October 11, students will be able to bring a picture of their pet(s) to class. Students can bring in an actual photograph, a drawing, or you can email me a digital picture that I will add to a slide show (ambrouwer@hollandchristian.org). Students will have an opportunity to introduce their pet to the class in Spanish. If you don't have a pet, your student can choose to draw/find/email me a picture of their dream pet, a friend/family member's pet, or talk about a favorite animal instead.
Ask your student:
- What was Señora Brouwer's joke that she told the class? (What did one fish say to the other fish? NADA!! In Spanish, "nada" means he/she swims, but it also means "nothing.")
Words in bold are new this week, others are review.

- nada - he/she swims
- vuela - he/she flies
- la tortuga - the turtle
