This week, we continued our "me gusta" (I like) unit.  We watched some fun songs and short videos, learned a few more phrases, and began reviewing with some interesting friends.

  • "Amigo Assignment"  There is not a new Quia assignment for this week.  Instead, you will be writing about your amigo (popsicle stick!)
    • Write 5 sentences, in Spanish, about what your amigo likes (or doesn't like) to do (worth 2 stickers).
    • You may write more sentences to earn more stickers.
    • In class (December 2), you can choose to help your "amigo" tell the class about his/her likes and dislikes.  This Spanish presentation is worth 2 stickers.
    • If you make a few props for your amigo, that is worth an extra sticker.  (For example, if your amigo says "Me gusta jugar fútbol," you can make a soccer ball prop.)
    • NOTE:  If you misplaced your popsicle stick amigo from class, you can use a popsicle stick from home, or another similar shaped object (clothes pin, pencil, cut out construction paper)
  • Did you miss any previous assignment?  You can still complete them for a sticker!
