3rd Grade: October 28, 2015

This week, we began a new unit in class!  We'll be learning to talk about things we enjoy doing in Spanish.  We spent 25 minutes speaking only in Spanish and we had a lot of fun today asking "normal" questions ("Do you like to eat chocolate?") and silly questions ("Do you like to swim in chocolate?").

Ask your student:
  • What does "me gusta" like?  (Me gusta means "I like."  We watched a song/video in class today that reviewed this phase.)
This week's vocabulary:
  • Me gusta - I like
  • No me gusta - I don't like
  • ¿Te gusta...? - Do you like
  • Le gusta - he/she likes
  • comer - to eat
  • nadar - to swim
  • bailar - to dance
  • cantar - to sing
Homework:
  • Sing along with the Me Gusta song we sang in class:  CLICK HERE
  • Quia Assignment!
  • Bible Memory Verse!
