Kindergarten: September 28, 2016

This week, we continued continued learning more body parts in Spanish.  We played a few games and even created some interesting looking Mr. Potato Heads (with "tres brazos" and "cuatro pies"!)

Ask your student:
  • Can you show me where your "estómago" and "espalda" are?  (Estomago is stomach and espalda is back.)
Vocabulary
New this week:
  • el estómago - the stomach
  • la espalda - the back
Review:
  • las manos - the hands
  • los brazos - the arms
  • los ojos - the eyes
  • las orejas - the ears
  • la cabeza - the head
  • los hombros - the shoulders
  • las piernas - the legs
  • los pies - the feet
  • tiene - he/she has
  • se levanta - he/she stands up
  • se sienta - he/she sits down
  • rápidamente - quickly
  • lentamente - slowly
Homework:
  • Bible Memory Verse:
    • Háganlo todo en el nombre de Jesús.  Colosenses 3:17
      • Shortened version of our (HC)2 Fall memory verse:  "Do everything in the name of Jesus."
