5th and 6th Grade: September 28, 2016

Today in class, continued our unit:  ¡Vamos a Chile!  (Let's go to Chile!)  First, we reviewed the vocabulary from last week.  Then, we learned more about the geography of Chile.  Finally, students worked with a partner to prepare a "National Weather Report" for Chile.

Ask your student:
  • What is the weather like Southern Chile?  (See if they can answer in Spanish!  En el sur, hace fresco.  Llueve mucho.  In the south, it is cool.  It rains a lot.)
  • What is the "Llanquihue"?  (Again see if your student can answer in Spanish!  Es un lago.  Está en el centro.  It is a lake.  It is in the center.)
