4th, 5th, 6th Grade: March 2, 2016

Today, students had the opportunity to share their Spanish stories with the class!  I was impressed that so many students wanted to read their stories in class.  In fact, we didn't have time for everyone.  We'll finish up next week.  The stories that were shared today were FANTASTIC!  I was amazed by the creativity and the quality of the stories.

Ask your student:
  • Who were the amigos del día in class today?  What did you learn about them?  (We had two "amigos del día":  a girl who has a dog that barks a lot, and a boy who likes to have sword fights with foam swords.)
  • Did you present your story in class today?   What were some of the other stories about?
This week's vocabulary:
  • Review
Homework:
  • No new assignment this week!!  You may use this week to catch up on any missed assignments from the past few weeks.
  • Storytelling Unit Final Assignment:  The final assignment was handed out in class today.  If you misplaced your copy, you can print a new copy here.  The story is due next Wednesday, March 2.
  • Previous Quia Assigments
  • Second Semester Bible Memory
    • This semester, we'll be memorizing two short passages in Spanish.  Students received a hard copy of the verses in class.  If your student misplaced the paper, you can print a new copy HERE.
    • Verses for January and February
    • Yo soy el buen pastor; conozco a mis ovejas y ellas me conocen a mí, así como el Padre me conoce a mí, y yo lo conozco a él, y doy mi vida por las ovejas.  Juan 10:14-15 (Juan diez, versículos catorce y quince.)
