1st Grade: March 16, 2016

In Spanish class, we continued our new unit.  Over the next few weeks, we'll be learning the words for a Bible story in Spanish.  Today we made some illustrations that we'll use as we tell the story in class.

Ask your student:
  • Do you remember you illustrated in Spanish class?  (Each student will illustrate one more word next week.)  
    Today's vocabulary:
    • New Vocabulary
      • da gracias - he/she gives thanks
      • el pan - the bread
      • tiene hambre - he/she is hungry
      • hay - there is/there are
    • Review Vocabulary
      • le da - he/she gives to him/her
      • el estómago - the stomach
      • la gente - the people
      • Jesús - Jesus
      • habla - he/she talks
      • escucha - he/she listens
      • come - he/she eats
      • prepara - he/she prepares/makes
      • sirve - he/she serves
