Ask your student:
- What were the 3 animals you talked about in Spanish class? Do you remember how to say their names in Spanish? (el pez=the fish, el pájaro=the bird, la rana=the frog)
- What does a bird do? Or ask: "How do you say 'flies' in Spanish?" (Vuela = he/she flies)
This week's vocabulary:
- el pájaro - the bird
- el pez - the fish
- la rana - the frog
- nada - he/she swims
- vuela - he/she flies
- salta - he/she jumps
Homework:
- Practice our vocabulary words with this ANIMAL SLIDE SHOW

- Confía = trust = take open hands, and clasp them shut, as if you're grabbing on to something.
- en el Señor = in the Lord = point up to heaven
- de todo = with all = hold arms out wide
- corazón = heart = bring your arms in, and make a heart with your hands
