3rd and 4th Grade: October 29, 2014

Today in class we continued our unit about "las descripciones/descriptions."  We played some games to refresh our memories and then learned some more vocabulary words.

Ask your student:

• What is the difference between "alto" and "alta"?  (You say "alto" if you're talking about a boy and "alta" if you're talking about a girl.)

This week's vocabulary:

• es - he/she/it is
• eres - you are
• soy - I am
• alto/alta - tall
• bajo/baja - short
• grande - big
• pequeño/pequeña - small

Homework

• Battleship style game (Review from previous week)

• Practice our Bible Verse:  Psalm 118:24 (We will begin learning a new verse next week)
