Kindergarten: March 22, 2017

In class today, we continued our Animal unit!

Ask your student:
  • What is the same about a "pájaro" and a "pingüino"?  How are they different? (They're both birds-pájaros, and they both canta-sing, but only one can fly-vuela.)

  • el pingüino - the penguin
  • canta - he/she sings

  • el pájaro - the bird
  • vuela - he/she flies
  • la tortuga - the turtle

  • salta - he/she jumps
  • dice - he/she says

  • nada - he/she swims
  • pequeño - small

Homework:
  • We learned a fun rhyme and hand clap from Spain to use up a little extra energy.  Watch the video and practice the actions!  ChocolateChocolate (jumping game).
