1st Grade: March 15, 2017

This week, we continued practicing community related vocabulary all in Spanish.  We also watched some videos in Spanish to learn our Bible Memory verse better!

Ask your student:
  • What did you bring home to help you practice Spanish? (Everyone brought home their own mini-community map and helpers.  See the link below to practice!) 
Vocabulary
Words in bold are new this week, others are review.
  • el policía - the police officer
  • el cartero - the mail carrier
  • el pastor - the pastor/minister
  • el hospital - the hospital
  • la escuela - the school
  • la tienda - the store
  • la maestra - the teacher
  • el médico - the doctor
  • el vecino - the neighbor (boy)
  • la vecina - the neighbor (girl)
  • el bombero - the firefighter
  • la casa - the house
  • el supermercado - the supermarket
  • la iglesia - the church
