Kindergarten: March 15, 2017

In class today, we continued our Animal unit!  Not only are we learning the names for animals, but we're also learning some colors and common verbs as well.

Ask your student:

• What animal did you learn about in Spanish class today?  (We learned about birds!  We also learned how to say that they fly.)
• What does a bird say in Spanish?  (In Spanish, birds say "pío, pío.") 

This week's vocabulary:

• café - brown
• lento/lenta - slow
• la rana - the frog

Homework:

• We learned a fun rhyme and hand clap from Spain to use up a little extra energy.  Watch the video and practice the actions!  Chocolate, Chocolate (jumping game).
