3rd Grade: September 2, 2015

Today in Spanish class, we focused on learning one very important word...hay.  We played a memory game to practice using the word "hay" in context.

Ask your student:

  • What does "hay" mean in Spanish?  (Hay means "there is or there are".  Since the letter "h" is always silent in Spanish, it sounds more like "aye!")
This week's vocabulary:

  • hay - there is, there are
Homework:
  • This year, we will be using a website called "Quia" to complete assignments in Spanish class.  Parents should have received an email with their student's username and password information.
    • Click on THIS LINK, put in your log-in information, and complete the short assignment.
  • If you have not received log-in information, or if you have any problems with the Quia website, please email me.  (ambrouwer@hollandchristian.org)
  • If you did not have Quia login information and were unable to complete last week's assignment, it's not too late!  CLICK HERE to access the last assignment.
