Ask your student:
- What new animal did you learn about this week? (This week we learned the phrase "el gallo" = the rooster and "el cerdo" = the pig)
- What does a rooster say in Spanish? (They don't say "cock a doodle doo." In Spanish, they say "qui quir ri quiiiiiiiii")
- What game did you play in Spanish class? (With a partner, students drew all 5 animals that we've learned so far. Señora Brouwer would say something in Spanish describing one of the animals. Students would bring the correct picture to the front of the room.)
