1st Grade: September 16, 2015

This week, we started class with a new weather phase:  "hace calor" (it's hot).  We practiced our Bible verse in Spanish (Psalm 100), and we continued talking about farm animals.  We played a game to review all of the words we've learned so far.

Ask your student:

  • What new animal did you learn about this week?  (This week we learned the phrase "el caballo" = the horse)
  • What does a frog say in Spanish?  (They don't say "ribbit."  In Spanish, they say "croac, croac.")
