2nd and 3rd Grade: October 12, 2016

Today in Spanish class, we kept putting restaurant-themed vocabulary to use!  We even had a little sandwich shop set up, some students worked in the kitchen listening to orders in Spanish, and others were customers, placing orders in Spanish.  We also practiced the vocabulary more with a reading practice.  Since we all learn differently, some students chose to read quietly on their own, and others chose to read aloud and act out the story with me.

Ask your student:
  • Did you get a chance to be a customer or a kitchen worker at Pedro's Sandwich Shop?  (Not everyone was able to get a turn, but most students got to do at least one or the other.  We had some hardworking kitchen workers, but we never managed to deliver a sandwich intact...they always fell apart!)
