4/5/6: September 18, 2013

Today in class, continued our unit:  ¡Vamos a Chile!  (Let's go to Chile!)  First, we reviewed the vocabulary from last week.  Then, we learned all about the weather and geography of Chile.  Finally, we played a little game to review everything we have learned so far.

Ask your student:

  • What is the weather like Southern Chile?  (See if they can answer in Spanish!  En el sur, hace fresco.  Llueve mucho.  In the south, it is cool.  It rains a lot.)
  • What is the "Atacama"?  (Again see if your student can answer in Spanish!  Es un desierto.  Está en el norte.  No llueve.  It is a desert.  It is in the north.  It doesn't rain.)
