5th and 6th Grade: October 24, 2018

Today in class, continued our unit:  ¡Vamos a Chile!  (Let's go to Chile!)  First, we reviewed the vocabulary from last week.  Then, we learned more about the geography of Chile.  Students read informational texts in small groups to discover the three main regions of Chile.

Ask your student:
    • What is the weather like Southern Chile?  (See if they can answer in Spanish!  En el sur, hace fresco.  Llueve mucho.  In the south, it is cool.  It rains a lot.)
    • Which region of Chile (north, central, south) would you most like to visit and why?  (Each of the three regions has a different climate and unique features!)
