5th and 6th Grade: October 10, 2018

During class today, we began our first unit of the year!  Over the next few weeks, we'll be learning about Chile all in Spanish!  Today we started by talking about where Chile is located and what it looks like.  We also played "Veo, Veo" (I Spy) in Spanish.

Ask your student:
  • Where is Chile?  (See if they can answer in Spanish!  Chile está en Sudamérica.)
  • What does Chile look like?  (Again see if your student can answer in Spanish!  Chile es largo y estrecho.  Chile is long and narrow.)

Song of the Week
Each week, we'll listen to and sing along with a fun song in Spanish.  Yes, even 5th and 6th graders!  It's a fun way to get us all up and moving while learning more!  If possible, I'll post a link to the song here so you can listen at home as well!
