- el cuatro - the small 4 stringed instrument in the guitar family. Common throughout Latin America.
- el cuatrico - adding "-ico" to a word in Spanish makes it "little." Cuatrico = the little cuatro.
- la guitarra - the guitar
- la cuerda - the string
- más pequeño - smaller
- parecido - similar
- tiene - he/she/it has
- es - he/she/it is
