4th Grade: November 14, 2018

Today in class, talked a little bit about needs and wants.  In Spanish, the word "he/she needs" is "necesita" which sounds a lot like "necessity" in English.  We talked about things that we are thankful for and learned how to name those in Spanish.

After Thanksgiving, we'll begin a short Christmas unit, and we'll jump back in with the Market Day vocabulary after Christmas.

Ask your student:
  • What are some things you're thankful for? (We shared ideas as a class and learned a lot of new words in Spanish!  They had some great ideas, and we learned that there isn't an easy way to translate "laser tag" in Spanish!)
