5th and 6th Grade: December 14, 2016

In class today, we continued learning about the Mexican Christmas legend of the poinsettia.

Ask your student:
  • What is the legend of the Poinsettia about?  (It's about a girl who was poor and couldn't bring a gift to church on Christmas Eve.  She just brought a normal plant she found along the side of the road and when she brought it in to the church, it turned into a beautiful flower--the poinsettia.)
