This week, we quickly reviewed the mini magazine about Andean Flamingos, read a fictitious story about a flamingo, and worked to write our own endings to the story.

- Oscar the Flamingo lives in the Andes. He wants to go on an adventure, so he heads to Michigan. He doesn't like how cold it is in Michigan, so he tries to fly back to Chile, but they won't let flamingos in the airport. So he heads to the zoo and meets with the other flamingos. Students are working on the ending from there! Next week, we'll read their stories in class.

- Bible Memory: This semester, our (HC)2 group will be memorizing Psalm 23 in English. In 2nd-6th grade, we will also be memorizing the passage in Spanish. Everyone will memorize the first verse, but I'll post an audio version of the entire Psalm for students who want a challenge in Spanish!
