- Do you remember what "Gallo Pinto" is? What two foods do they mix together to make Gallo Pinto? (Gallo Pinto is one of the most common meals in Costa Rica. They mix rice and black beans together.)

- los frijoles negros - the black beans
- los plátanos - the plantains/bananas
