Grammar Concept:
The verb "to be": The verb "to be" is important in both Spanish and English. Through this unit, we will be learning the various forms of the verb:
- I am = yo soy
- you are = tú eres
- he is = él es
- she is = ella es
- to be = ser (used in a phrase like "quiere ser" - he/she wants to be)
- cocina - he/she cooks
- cocinar - to cook
- quiere cocinar - he/she wants to cook
- puede cocinar - he/she is able to cook
