Kindergarten: November 9, 2016

This week, we continued learning shapes and colors.  We read a short book together (students brought it home), and learned some Thanksgiving related vocabulary.

Ask your student:

• Can  you show me your "Shape Walk" book from Spanish class today?  (See if you can find more shapes in your home.) 

Vocabulary
Words in bold are new this week, others are review.

• el óvalo - the oval
• la mesa - the table (rectangle)
• el plato - the plate (circle)
• el trozo de pay - the piece of pie (triangle)
• la servilleta - the napkin (square)
• el rectángulo - the rectangle
• el triángulo - the triangle
• el cuadrado - the square
• el círculo - the circle
• grande - big
• pequeño - small

Homework:

• Bible Memory Verse~See if your student can say it on his/her own!  A lot of them are able to say it from memory!
• Háganlo todo en el nombre de Jesús.  Colosenses 3:17
• Shortened version of our (HC)2 Fall memory verse:  "Do everything in the name of Jesus."
