5th and 6th Grade: November 9, 2016

In class today, we continued learning location words in Spanish.  We put those words into practice by talking about a famous Spanish painting.

Ask your student:
  • Who are some of the people in this painting?  (The girl in the center is a princess, the painter, Diego de Velázquez, put himself in the painting...and the King and Queen are "hidden"!)
Velázquez, Diego.  Las Meninas.  1656.  Oil on canvas.  Museo del Prado, Madrid.
