Ask your student:
- What were traditional piñatas made of? Why don't they make them like that anymore? (Traditionally, piñatas were a clay pot. They don't make them like that anymore because it was too dangerous and people got hurt from the sharp, broken, pot.)
Words in bold are new this week, others are review.
- tradicional - traditional
- moderna - modern
- dulces - sweets/candy
- fruta - fruit
- monedas - coins
- nueces - nuts
- tiene - he/she/it has
- es - he/she/it is
- grande - big
- pequeño - small
- sorpresas - surprises
- Numbers 11-20 (these tend to be the toughest to pick up in Spanish. We'll spend quite a bit of time with these numbers)
- Numbers 1-10

- This semester, we'll be memorizing Colossians 3:16-17 as an (HC)2 group. In Spanish class, we will also focus on memorizing just verse 17 in Spanish.
