Kindergarten: January 17, 2018

In class today, we continued learning the vocabulary to talk about getting ready to play out in the snow!

Ask your student:

• What game did you play in Spanish class?  (Students were with a partner and each group had a paper with pictures of all of our vocabulary words.  Señora Brouwer would say a word in Spanish and everyone would try to point to the correct picture as fast as possible.)

Words in bold are new this week, others are review

• la nieve - the snow
• el gorro - the hat
• los guantes - the gloves
• el pantalón - pants/snow pants
• las botas - boots
• el abrigo - winter coat

Homework:

Note:  In Kindergarten, most of our Spanish homework consists of watching short videos or songs to reinforce the vocabulary we learn in class.

• Colors song!  It's a fast paced song, but a fun way to review colors in Spanish!
• Bible Memory Verse:  This semester we'll be memorizing Galatians 5:22-23 in Spanish!
