- Look at this picture...which foods are dulce? Which ones are salado? (Dulce is sweet and salado is salty)

- pruebo - I taste
- como - I eat
- la boca - the mouth
- la lengua - the tongue
- dulce - sweet
- salado - salty
- las manos - the hands
- toco - I touch
- suave - smooth
- áspero - rough/bumpy
- blando - soft/squishy
- duro - hard
- escucho - I listen
- escucha - he/she listens
- los oídos - the (inner) ears
- las orejas - the (outer) ears
- habla bajo - he/she speaks softly
- habla fuerte - he/she speaks loudly
- veo - I see
- ve - he/she sees
- los ojos - the eyes
Note:
In first grade, most of our Spanish homework consists of watching
short videos or songs to reinforce the vocabulary we learn in class.
