2nd and 3rd Grade: January 31, 2018

We continued practicing school-related vocabulary words with  a silly story about Pedro the mouse. As a class, we worked together to write new "chapers" for the story.

Ask your student:
  • What was your Pedro story about? (In our story poor Pedro never had exactly what he needed for school.  He definitely didn't have a good day!)
Vocabulary:
Words in bold are new this week, others are review.
  • hay - there is/there are
  • tiene - he/she has
  • escribe - he/she writes
    • con - with
    • en - on/in
  • los marcadores - the markers
  • los crayones - the crayons
  • la pantalla - the screen
  • la pizarra - the board (white board, chalk board...)
  • la puerta - the door
  • el cuaderno - the notebook
  • la carpeta - the folder
  • el libro - the book
  • las tijeras - the scissors
  • la mochila - the backpack
  • la silla - the chair
  • la mesa - the table
  • abre - he/she opens
  • cierra - he/she closes
  • el pupitre - the desk
  • saca - he/she takes out
  • guarda - he/she puts away
  • el lápiz - the pencil
Homework:
  • Quia Vocabulary/Language practice
    • Practice the numbers Spanish numbers from 0-60 with these games!
