5th and 6th Grade: February 18, 2015

Today in class we continued our unit about "las descripciones/descriptions."  We learned a few new words that are helpful for describing faces.

Ask your student:

• In the picture below who has "gafas"?  Who has "pelo rubio"?  (Gafas are glasses and pelo rubio is blonde hair.)
• 
  

This week's vocabulary:

• el bigote - the mustache
• la barba - the beard
• las pecas - the freckles 
• las gafas/los anteojos - the glasses

Homework

• New Bible Memory Passage:  The Lord's Prayer
• Passage typed out HERE.
• Audio Version
• Our new song: Countries and Capitals of Central America/The Caribbean.  We'll be listening to this song in class each week.  The goal is for students to learn all of the countries and capitals by the end of April.

• Flashcards/Matching
• Battleship style game (Review from last week)
• Hangman style game
• Quia Assignment (Completing this assignment is worth 2 stickers)
