1st Grade: February 25, 2015

In class this week, we kept finished learning words for our Bible story in Spanish!  Next week, we'll act out the story in class.

Ask your student:

• What do "ayer" and "mañana" mean?  (We've been practicing days of the week in Spanish.  Ayer means yesterday and mañana means tomorrow.)  

Today's vocabulary:

• Review from last week
• el pescado - the fish
• hay - there is/there are
• aquí - here
• necesita - he/she needs
• gruñen - they growl (like stomachs do!)
• mucho/mucha - a lot

Homework:

• Sing along with our song:  "La B-I-B-L-I-A"
• New Bible verse for January and February: 1 John 14:19  (Click for audio version)
