In Spanish class, we continued our new unit.  Over the next few weeks, we'll be learning the words for a Bible story in Spanish.  Today we made some illustrations that we'll use as we tell the story in class.

Kindergarten: March 16, 2016

In class today, we continued our Animal unit!  Not only are we learning the names for animals, but we're also learning some colors and common verbs as well.

Today, we continued sharing Spanish stories in class today.  Again, everyone was excited to read or show their stories to the class.  The stories that were shared today were FANTASTIC!  Again, I was amazed by the creativity and the quality of the stories.

• Who were the amigos del día in class today?  What did you learn about them?  (We had two "amigos del día":  a girl who has a cat that eats mice and another girl who loves cheesecake!)

Today, students had the opportunity to share their Spanish stories with the class!  I was impressed that so many students wanted to read their stories in class.  In fact, we didn't have time for everyone.  We'll finish up next week.  The stories that were shared today were FANTASTIC!  I was amazed by the creativity and the quality of the stories.

• Who were the amigos del día in class today?  What did you learn about them?  (We had two "amigos del día":  a girl who has a dog that barks a lot, and a boy who likes to have sword fights with foam swords.)

Today in class we continued new unit.  We'll be learning vocabulary to describe people.  This week we started by reviewing the vocabulary to describe eyes and learning the vocabulary to describe hair.
