In class today, we continued learning about the Mexican Christmas legend of the poinsettia.

- What is the legend of the Poinsettia about? (It's about a girl who was poor and couldn't bring a gift to church on Christmas Eve. She just brought a normal plant she found along the side of the road and when she brought it in to the church, it turned into a beautiful flower--the poinsettia.)

In class today, we finished our unit about Las Meninas. As a class, we posed (again!) to take a Las Meninas picture. We also looked at another artist's interpretation of the painting.
